First of all, the lips are made up of two distinct parts, the white lip on the skin side and the red lip on the mucous side. In a young person the lips can appear naturally too thin, insufficiently drawn. In this case, the injection of fluid hyaluronic acid will allow them to be discreetly plumped without modifying their natural appearance.
The outline is important, with regard to the line separating the red lip from the white lip which will have to be restored. With UV exposure, and tobacco wrinkles appear around the mouth. These vertical wrinkles installed above the upper lip give the face a faded look. The top of the upper lip is a delicate area to treat and it is often necessary to combine different techniques to obtain a natural result.
First, it all depends on the importance of the wrinkles: superficial, they represent a good indication for injections of hyaluronic acid to rehydrate the tissues and therefore plump them.
In the event of deeper wrinkles, the peel is combined in order to smoothen the epidermis while the injection of hyaluronic acid will “fill” the wrinkles.
