Planning to lighten your dark circles?
The dark circles give a big blow of fatigue to the eyes. As a rule, they are due to poor blood circulation. There are, however, several colorations and several causes that add to this problem of blood circulation:
- Blue / purple circles, mainly due to the extreme thinness of the thickness of the skin which lets the muscles show through,
- Red circles with blood vessels, appearance of blood vessels which gives this coloration,
- Dark / black circles, generally of ethnic origin and therefore genetic.
There is no age to have pigmented dark circles, but the problem worsens with time, with old age, fatigue, stress and a poor lifestyle.
The daily approach
The concealer is surely the most famous product for correcting the complexion. As the name suggests, it is supposed to erase traces of fatigue and make you look fresher. The skin around the eye is sensitive and easily marks. Suddenly, to avoid drying it out and marking small fine lines, creamy dark circles are the most appropriate.
The medical approach
Volumizing hyaluronic acid injections will be used to thicken the very thin skin of the lower eyelids, and thus camouflage the muscles and blood vessels. These injections cannot be done on the upper eyelid, at the risk of causing them to fall on the eye because of the weight of the hyaluronic acid.
Peeling and fractional laser are also techniques that can be used to make room for new skin devoid of melanin.
