What is medical rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty is nose surgery, which is one of the most complex procedures in cosmetic surgery and requires the skills of a high-level facial plastic surgeon. Some patients come because they want a more harmonious nose that blends better with their face, while others are looking for help to breathe better. This operation, as old as the history of reconstructive surgery, has evolved over the past few years to reveal a medical version, the medical rhinoplasty, thanks to scientific progress and the advent of more effective filling products.
Are you planning to reshape your nose to beautify it?
You therefore have two different, sometimes complementary approaches: surgical rhinoplasty and medical (or non-surgical) rhinoplasty. Medical rhinoplasty has many advantages: a non-surgical treatment without hospitalization, with a simple injection, fast, affordable and painless. It also improves a surgical rhinoplasty, if needed.
The technique of medical rhinoplasty
The filler used by Dr. Christophe Desouches, cosmetic surgeon in Marseille, is essentiallyhyaluronic acid pure and dense enough to be suitable for this area. Hyaluronic acid is known to fight against skin aging by providing tissues with hydration, suppleness and firmness, filling in wrinkles, infraorbital hollows, creating cheekbones, increasing a chin or giving volume to the lips or simply by drawing their outline. Its action does not stop there, it also makes it possible to reshape the nose without surgery and thus, to obtain a very natural result without the risks inherent in surgery, by providing a reversible, immediate correction, without anesthesia and without pain before to take the step of surgery if one day is necessary. The principle of rhinoplasty without surgery is to inject hyaluronic acid into the nose:
- At the nasolabial angle, in particular to raise the tip of the nose
- In the dorsum nasal / lobule angle, to maintain a small hollow
- In the nasolabial angle
- In the nasal forehead / dorsum angle, when there is a significant hollow
- Between the inter-browbone region and the nasal dorsum.
